After a strange go with my garden this year, this is what I've ended up with. Two acorn squashes and an anemone looking flower growing on a vine I thought was poison ivy.
I'm so very thankful, so don't get me wrong. It's just that I've harvested pretty much nothing from anything I've planted and quite a bit from things I had nothing to do with. So does this mean I don't have a green thumb? Just asking.
I dyed this wool a weekend ago and since it's already dark outside due to an impending storm, my camera is having a very hard time capturing the color correctly. It's a Nikon camera, but not the kodachrome film Paul Simon sang about; just digital.
Today was a fun and interesting day, and yes, I still came home very tired. I babysat for an NFL football player. Now I am ready to have a go at the Macy's Gray blanket tonight. I worked on the yellow cuff of the DYFLWD sock #2 while the baby napped today. So far so good.
